The pedal is excellent and delivers on its promise 100%. It works exactly as shown in the videos and reviews on YouTube. It sounds great, slightly coloring the tone and giving it a modern character. In my opinion, it cuts the low frequencies a bit more than, for example, a Tube Screamer; having control over this parameter would be useful. Overall, however, I suspect this booster is more targeted at 7-string guitars and drop tunings, where clarity is more important than a booming low end.

It’s great for taming “unruly” tube amplifiers, but it also works well with digital preamps and essentially any type of amp, refining and enhancing the tone. The built-in noise gate works perfectly and, just as described in the manual, adds a nice tonal touch.

I’m extremely happy with the purchase — the Tube Screamer is going up for sale 🙂

Honestly, this is a phenomenal product for a reasonable price. The boost does a great job of really tightening up the tone, as good as other more expensive pedals. It's really well constructed, has a range of tonal options, and is now an always-on pedal.

Excellent OD with gate. Really works superbly for drop C and drop A. Have used it with an Ares preamp pedal and Panama tube amps.

Great packaging, sleek design, and sounds great! Quite a few options with the additional switches for Focus and Open, and having a nose gate on the pedal is awesome as well.
